Work Elsewhere.
In the fall of 2010, I was a reporter for the Columbia Missourian. Here’s an index of the articles I wrote for the newspaper. My favorite article from this period was called“After an epic MIssouri victory, pandemonium in the streets”.
From November 2008 to July 2009, I was a music reviewer at PopMatters.com, an online magazine. During that time, I wrote 26 music reviews - here’s a full listing. I particularly liked my reviews of Warren Zevon’s self-titled album and Linkin Park’sRoad to Revolution.
In the spring of 2008, I lived in Cuba for three months. I blogged while there, and upon my return I self-published those blog posts in a book, Notes From A Small Island: Travels in Cuba. You can read the full blog for free, or buy a physical copy of the book, if you like.
